There are a multitude of things that go into choosing a college or university. ‘Why?’ is a question many students battle with as they embark on the journey of choosing the best school for them. Things like location, cost, activities, majors offered; the list is never ending. On Thursday, February 26, a film crew will be in the Communication Studies Hall from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. to find out why the students of GWU chose this institution.
“We’re working on numerous video projects and felt this would be a fun and innovative way to engage students and capture their thoughts on why Gardner-Webb is the place for them,” said Noel Manning.
The team is interested in students’ answers to why they came to Gardner-Webb, why they have stayed and what is it about the Gardner-Webb experience that provides meaning?
The video will be used to spark future students’ interest by capturing the most important voices at Gardner-Webb, the students. This project is about the students, their lives, their experience and why others would enjoy it the same.
