This weekend the Greater Shelby Community Theatre will be bringing their production of \u201cGreater Tuna\u201d to the Millennium Playhouse.<\/p>\n

The play is set in the third smallest town in the United States, Tuna, Texas.<\/p>\n

Greater Tuna has been described as two actors playing over 20 whimsical and sharp characters to give the audience a feel of what it would be like to live in the small, country town of Tuna.<\/p>\n

On the official website for Greater Tuna it says, \u201cThe eclectic band of citizens that make up this town are portrayed by only two performers, making this satire on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is a play originally performed and written by Joe Sears, Ed Howard and Jaston Williams. The skit was first based off of a political cartoon that was created in Austin, Texas. Sears, Howard and Williams decided to create something that went along with the theme of the cartoon.<\/p>\n

The Greater Community Theatre will be performing this weekend, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Millennium Playhouse. Tickets cost $10 for students and $12 for adults. It is free admission for GWU students with their I.D.<\/p>\n
