Meet sophomore transfer from Hickory, NC, Mackenzie Houston. Mackenzie has been competing in pageants her entire life, but is excited to compete in the Miss GWU Pageant for the first time this Sunday.
What motivated you to participate in the Miss GWU Pageant?
The scholarship that is offered to the winner.
What do you think makes you a good contestant?
Confidence is the key!
What has been your favorite part of the pageant process so far?
The ability to have our own personal photoshoot!
What talent are you planning on showcasing during the pageant?
Delight worship.
What are you looking forward to the most?
I am looking forward to getting to know all the girls and hopefully nine new friends!
