Designed for Gardner-Webb students and their families, Family Weekend gives families the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the campus and create memories.

Throughout the weekend, Gardner-Webb was filled with families who participated in Sweet Bingo, supported the football team at their first home game and attended a worship service along with other families and friends of Gardner-Webb.

Senior Keanna Caldwell got to reflect and share her thoughts about Family Weekend at Gardner-Webb.

“Both my younger brother and my mom haven’t seen the campus before. I’m glad that they ended up seeing the campus during Family Weekend,” said Caldwell. “Being my senior year, I was happy to see my family. I enjoyed showing my younger brother and my mom the campus, and I introduced my family to some of my friends.”

Caldwell’s mom and younger brother live in Charlotte, N.C. Both Caldwell and her family attended the football game to support the team’s first home game.

At the end of the weekend, families went back home and students prepared for the dawn of a new week taking with them the memories and love shared during Family Weekend.
