It’s time to meet the third contestant in the Miss GWU Pageant. It is a Sophomore from Knoxville, Tennessee. Meet Gardner-Webb sunset loving, first time competitor, Kiah Root.
What motivated you to participate in the Miss GWU Pageant?
I watched the ladies last year enjoying themselves and a friend that was in the pageant [told] me how much fun she had.
What do you think makes you a good contestant?
[My] willingness to get out of my comfort zone and do something I would normally not do.
What has been your favorite part of the pageant process so far?
My favorite part of this pageant so far is being able to get to know the other girls.
What talent are you planning on showcasing during the pageant?
I am planning to sing.
What are you looking forward to the most?
I am looking forward to the talent portion of this pageant.
