“Return to Me” is the theme for this years Celebration Week. Hosted by GWU’s Campus Ministries, Celebration Week is a time for the campus and the community to come together to worship and glorify the Lord.
Gardner-Webb’s annual Celebration Week kicked off this morning with guest speaker Darrick Smith, senior consultant for Collegiate Partnerships with N.C. Baptists, speaking at the 9:25 a.m. Dimensions program. Smith’s theme centers around Jeremiah 2:13, which says, “They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.”
Smith will also speak Thursday at 9:25 a.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. in the Tucker Student Center. He will be accompanied by GWU’s various musical talents.
Come out and celebrate with your Gardner-Webb family!
