Spring graduation is just a few months away, and graduating seniors have to think about what they will do after college. Graduating senior, Virginia Priest is planning to go to graduate school as her next step in life.
Priest is a history and art major, planning to take online courses from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to achieve a Master’s in Library Science. UNCG requires that every student have one official transcript from every college and university previously attended. This degree does not require students to take the Graduate Record Exam test.
Priest said, “I believe that grad school will open many doors and allow me to have more opportunities within the job market.”
Priest is hoping it will only take two years to receive a master’s in Library Science. “A master’s in Library Science can allow me to reach the highest levels of library administration at a university library or a secondary school library.”
Priest said she’s planning to work as she goes to graduate school part-time. That way she can pay for school.
